The book you are holding was written by Rabbi HaGaon haMeqoubal Haeloki Rabbeinu Yehuda FETAYA Zatsqa'l, one of the greatest luminaries of Jewish mysticism of the last century.

Originally from Baghdad where he was a pupil of Rav Abdallah SOMEKH and Ben Ich 'Haï, Rav FETAYA was appointed Rabbi at the age of 17 before taking the head of the famous Yeshiva Beith Zilkha of Baghdad, in 1889 , when he had just turned 30...

A true genius of the Torah, Rav Yéhuda FETAYA is best known for his commentary on the ETZ 'HAÏM, the Beit Le'hem Yéhuda. But, history will also remember him for his active participation in the prayers held in the four corners of Eretz Israel to halt the advance of the Nazis heading towards Jerusalem and miraculously stopped by the Allies on July 27, 1942. , during the first battle of El Alamein, less than 15 days before the death of the Rav, on 27 Menachem Av 5702.

Published for the first time in 1933, the Minchath Yehouda is an edifying text in which the Rav examines specific passages from the Bible, the Mishnah and the Zohar which he explains in the light of the PARDES, the four orders interpretation of the text. But this book especially contains a long chapter entitled "The spirits tell..." where we discover the revelations that the spirits have made to the author on what is happening in the beyond...
We will thus witness the tiqun of the soul of the false messiah Chabtaï Tsvi and of his prophet Nathan of Gaza. And we will learn, among other things, all there is to know about the shaking of the grave, the Heavenly tribunal and the gehinom, about the resurrection of the dead and the future world, the guilgoulim, and the Kaf haqala', on the meaning and nature of dreams, the actions which are useful and beneficial to the soul of the deceased and which enable him to alleviate his sufferings in the superior worlds, and the attitude to be adopted when an epidemic strikes human specie...

So many topics that everyone is eager to know!
And not just out of curiosity. Because, as Rav FETAYA writes: "... the soul burns with the desire to know what will happen to its body and its nefesh once it leaves this world..."
